Dubb Block Entertainment (also known as Dubb Block) is a hip-hop record label founded by two cousins “Bink Jones”and “Gangsta Bubs” in October 2010. Bink Jones started in entertainment by surrounding himself with musicians and having access to studio spaces. The namesakes envisioned Dubb Block while Gangsta Bubs was incarcerated. Meanwhile, Bink began discussing business incorporation with a friend (I Q 1-20) and got the idea to make it official.
Bink Jones would go on to help family and friends manage and promote their careers. When Gangsta Bubs came home in 2010, the namesakes came up with the name Hustle Gang Ent. and promoted music in St. Louis. The name was too common so they proceeded to establish Dubb Block Entertainment. The name Dubb Block came from a neighborhood nickname Street Block on Whitey Ave. In Page Dale Mo. where they both grew up. In the summer of 2010, they would record music, shoot videos, and promote music through CDs, T-shirts, flyers and posters in St. Louis Missouri as well as Harvey, Illinois. Gangsta Bubs was fatally shot in 2012. This hit Bink Jones hard and forced him to take a step back from music as a whole, feeling as though he’d never return to music again.
